ALGOZZINI | ALGOZZINO

Algozzini, absolutely rare, is probably due to an incorrect transcription of Algozzino, which is typically Sicilian, with a stock in Palermo and one in Agira in the Enna area, it should derive from the Italianization of the Arabic term wazir, of Persian origin, from vezir term with the same meaning as minister or senior official.
