Etymological origin of Italian surname: Allegranza

Very rare it seems to originate from the Val d'Ossola, it should derive from the medieval name Allegranza, of which we have an example in the Diplomatic Code of medieval Lombardy: "Year dominice incarnationis milleximo centeximo trigeximo nono, canteens ianuarii, indictione secunda. Guifredi Verpo, atque Latinam, spouse Anselmi Curto, ... ", traces of this surname can be found in Milan in 1700 with the Dominican father, historian and archaeologist Giuseppe Allegranza.
