Etymological origin of Italian surname: Amolini

AMOLINI

Amolini is decidedly from Brescia, from Bione and Casto, but it should be of Venetian origin, probably from the Rovigoto, it should derive from a hypocoristic form of the name and nickname Veneto amolo (plum), traces of this surname we find in 1500 in Rovigo with the doctor and philosopher Laurentius Amolinus Rhodiginus.
