They are both decidedly Lombard, Ancelotti is extremely rare, Ancellotti has a Brescian stock between Capriano Del Colle, Brescia and Azzano Mella and a principal Mantua in Gonzaga, Ancellotto, practically unique, is probably due to transcription errors, while Ancillotti is clearly Tuscan of Empoli and Florence and of Lamporecchio (PT), in particular, Ancilotti, very very rare, is from Empoli and Castelfiorentino, Ancillotto and Ancilotto are Venetian, they should all derive from the medieval name Ancillottus of which we have an example in the list of the students of the 'Perugian Athenaeum where the Marches Ancillottus Ancillottus is mentioned under the year 1583, the name is a variant of the much more famous Lancelot.
