ANDRIAN

Andrian has a stock in the Paduan area, but the bulk is specific to the Friulian, Julian, Fiumicello, Aquileia, San Vito a Torre and Cervignano del Friuli areas of Udine and Gorizia and Monfalcone in Gorizia, should derive from the Slavic name Andrian, an alteration of the name Andrey, probably brought by the progenitor.
