ANNARUMMA

Annarumma is specific of the Salerno, of Angri above all, but also of Scafati, Salerno, Cava de` Tirreni, Calabritto and Pagani, it should derive from the dialectal form of the name composed by Anna and by the contraction of Rumménéca, dialectal rotacism for Sunday, a name evidently carried from the progenitor.
