Bresso would seem to be from Turin, Turin, Verolengo, Pinerolo and perosa Argentina, it should derive from the medieval name Bressus or, more probably, from an Italianization of the French name Bresson, a name given for example by the bishop of Tours who succeeded San Martino at the end of the fourth century.
