BRIGNOCCOLI | BRIGNOCOLI

Brignoccoli, absolutely rare, would seem to be from the Romagna area of the Marche, Brignocoli is a surname so rare that it seems unique, it should derive from dialectal nicknames originating from the Italian word bernoccolo in turn derived from the pejorative prefix bar and from the Latin term nucula (small walnut), nickname perhaps originated from the presence of significant growths that characterized the progenitor.
