CACI

Caci is a typically Sicilian surname, of Gela in the Nissian, but also of the Agrigento, of Licata, Aragona, Agrigento, Porto Empedocle and Ravanusa, it could derive from a nickname originated from the craft of cheese maker (cheese maker), perhaps carried out by the founders , but a possible derivation from the Turkish personal name Qaji, which may have been brought by the progenitors, cannot be excluded.
