Culmone, typically Sicilian, of Delia and Caltanissetta in the nisseno and of Alcamo, Calatafimi and Poggioreale in the Trapani, Curmona, almost unique, it is Sicilian of the Agrigento, they should derive from a nickname based on the dialectal term curmùne (tree trunk, massive) , probably to indicate that the founders had an imposing physical structure.
