Etymological origin of Italian surname: Cuscona

CUSCONA | CUSCONA' | CUSCUNA | CUSCUNA'

Locri and one in Catania in Motta Sant'Anastasia and Catania, these surnames should derive from the Turkish Albanian surname Kuskuni, or more probably from its Greek and Albanian variant Kuskunàs, as it is also possible a derivation from a nickname based on the Greek word coyscoynàs (breeder of pigs) to indicate perhaps the job of the founders.
