EQUI | EQUO

Equi, very very rare, would seem to be of the Lucca area, of Barga and Coreglia Antelminelli, while Equo is almost unique, they could derive from the name of the people of the equients initially set up in the area between Tuscany and Lazio, but it is also possible that they derive from the apocope of Latin nomen Equitius.
