Fauri is from Trentino in the area north of Trento, Bresimo in particular, Fauro is absolutely rare and is very probably Venetian, could derive from the Lombard name Faulo, traces of this surname can be found in a 17th century procedural act in Valmareno (TV) , where it reads: "... that portar from Virgoman to Visnà in the garden of master Giacometto Fauro ...".
