Fieri, very very rare, present in Tuscany and Lazio, Fiero, equally rare, is present throughout Italy, but in particular in Campania, should derive from the medieval name Fiero, with the meaning of proud in God, that is to be proud to be a Christian, or even as an apheretic form of nicknames such as staffiero (see BINDER).
