FILADELFIA

Characteristic of Avigliano in the Potentino area in Lucania, it could derive from the toponym Filadelfia (VV), but much more probably it derives from the homonymous toponym in Asia Minor and could date back to the time of the defeat of the Christians by the Saracens in 1390.
