Langaro is typically Venetian, absolutely rare, it would seem from the Vicenza area, it should derive from a nickname originating from the Venetian word arcaico langaro (ramarro), perhaps to emphasize a very grumpy attitude of the progenitor, or its particular reactivity, typical of that type of chestnut.
