Laudamo, almost unique, seems Sicilian, Laudani is typical of the Catania area, between Paternò, Belpasso, Acireale and Catania, Laudano, more rare, is specific of the Amalfi coast, could derive from modifications of the term laudamus often used to indicate a foundling, traces of we find these surnames in Naples in 1500 with the sculptor Angelo Laudano.
