Lebani has a Trieste and a Salerno origin, Lebano is decidedly from Campania, from Naples and Salerno, it could derive from the name Lebanius, we remember with this name a famous Sophist philosopher of Antioch and rhetorician of the 4th century, but could also characterize some exiles from the Lebanon or even refer to the period of the Crusades.
