Etymological origin of Italian surname: Leita

Leita has a strain in Pasian di Prato in Udine and one in Trentino, they should have different origins, the Trentino lineage could derive from the word cimbro leit or lait (slope) identifying morphological characteristics of the area of origin, the Friulian lineage is instead of origins uncertain, although it could also have the same origin.
