MUNDOLA | MUNDULA

Mundola, which seems unique, is probably the result of an incorrect transcription of Mundula, which is typically Sardinian, with a large stock in the northern part of the island to Ozieri, Sassari and Nughedu San Nicolò, to Tempio Pausania in Gallura and a stock in Cagliari, it should derive from a Sardinian dialectal nickname based on the Sardinian word mundhulare (sweeping, cleaning).
