OSCULATI | SCULATI

Osculati has a lineage in Besnate in the Varese area, in Milan and in Monza. Sculati, absolutely rare, is in the area between Varese and Verbanese, and should derive, directly or through an apheretic form, from a medieval nickname based on the Latin word osculati (kissed , perhaps implied by the goddess Fortuna or the Almighty).
