Paleari is typically Lombard, of the Milanese, above all, of Monza, Milan, Pogliano Milanese, Cerro Maggiore, Brugherio, Rho, Besana in Brianza, Muggiò, Lainate, Lissone, Seregno, Biassono, Villasanta and Cologno Monzese, Paliari, practically unique, should be due to an alteration of the previous, Milanese family, whose name should be derived from the toponymy, perhaps from the name of places like Pagliaro in the Bergamo area or Pagliaro Superiore in the Alessandria area, we find traces of it since 1400, after which date, there we find as military engineers, Podesta and Castellani.
