Paggiaro is typically Venetian, from Venice and Santa Maria di Sala in the Venetian dialect, from Padua, Camposampiero and Vigonza in the Paduan area and Treviso, Pagiari is unique, Pagiaro, certainly Venetian too, has a stock in Santa Maria di Sala in the Venetian dialect and one in Abano Terme in Padua, should derive from a nickname based on the Venetian term archaic pagiaro (haystack), probably to indicate in the progenitors of the peasants.
