PANTERA | PANTERI | PANTERO

Pantera has a small stock between Massese and Lucchese and an even smaller one between Ravenna and Cesena, Panteri is decidedly Tuscan, of Pescia in the Pistoia area in particular, Pantero, practically unique, should be due to a transcription error of one of the previous ones, should derive from the Latin name Pantherus or Panthera, probably brought by the founders, of this name we have an example in an ancient tombstone: "AD XII. CAL. FEBRV. CIC. IC. XIC. SOLOMO PANTHERUS F.".
