Pascon is specific to Trevisano, Salgareda, Chiarano, Fontanelle, Cison di Valmarino and Motta di Livenza, with a small stock also in Fossalta di Piave in the Venetian dialect, and one in Curtatone in Mantua, Pasquon is typical of the Venetian area, of Torre del Mosto and Ceggia, with a small stock in Casarsa della Delizia in the Pordenone area, should be dialectal forms from Veneto originating from an augmentative form of the medieval name Pasqua (see EASTER).
