PASSARELLA | PASSARELLI | PASSARELLO

Passarella is distributed as a patch of leopard a little all over Italy, has an important nucleus in the province of Venice, which derives from the toponym Passarella (VE) and one between the Caserta and Molise, which should derive from a hypocoristic form of the Byzantine name Passara, as it is thought to be for Passarelli, which is particularly widespread in Lazio, Theatine, Molise, Campania, Basilicata and Calabria, with stumps also in the Taranto and Catania areas, and Passarello, which is decidedly Sicilian, of the Agrigento, Palermo and Syracuse in particular.
