PECCHI | PECCHIA | PECCHIO

Pecchi is quite rare, it seems to have Tuscan origins (provinces of Florence and Arezzo), Pecchia seems to have several nuclei, along the Tyrrhenian coast of Tuscany, Lazio and Neapolitan, Pecchio seems very rare to have two stocks, in Milanese and Turin. These surnames should all derive from the Renaissance surname Pecchius, the Pecchio were Milanese patricians and feudal counts of Montesiro in Brianza.
