PEROSI | PEROSINI

Perosi, very rare, it is Lombard, perhaps Milanese, but more likely than Mantua, Perosini, absolutely rare, could originate from Milan, the derivation of this surname is difficult to identify, it could derive from a nickname from the Latin term perosus (of whom abhors something), traces of these surnames can be found in 1400, in a report of 1456 the judge Cristoforo Perosini, of Pensano vicar of the mayor of Milan, is quoted, in the repertoire of notaries of the Venetian Province a certain notary Nicolò Perosini.
