Pischiuta and Pischiuti, almost unique, should be altered forms of surnames: Pischiutta, which is specific to San Daniele del Friuli in the Udine area, and Pischiutti, which, decidedly more rare, is instead specific to Gemona del Friuli, these surnames should be l 'Italianization of the dialectal surname Pischiut, of which we have traces in the second half of the 1500s and early 1600s, in a marriage registration of 1602 we can read: "1602, Die 2 Novembris Jo: Bapta Pischiut contraxit matrimonium cum Helenam filia Sebastiani Patat coram R .do
