Sbarsi, very very rare, is typical of south-western Lombardy, Milan and Pavese above all, Sbarzi, absolutely rare, is probably originating in the Pavese, could derive, through the addition of an S-Epentetica, from a dialectal form of Name of a locality such as Castellazzo de ' Barzi, a hamlet of Robecco on the Naviglio in Milan, or even an alteration of the surname Barzio (see BARZIO), but it can not be excluded that can derive from a nickname related to the dialect word Lombard sbarzo ( Cavedano, river fish).
