SCATTONE | SCATTONI

Scattone seems to have besides the stump Barese, one important in the province of Rome, Scattoni rarer it seems umbro, should derive from the Latin cognomen Scato (Scatonis) of which one has example in the 12ma Filippica of Cicero, where one reads: "... Cn. Pompeius, Sexti filius, Consul me praexempt, the Essem shoot in Eius Exercitu, in the Form of a Scatone, Duce Marsorum, Inter Bina Castra... "Traces of this cognitive-ominization are in Sondrio in 1500, in one act reads:"... In the Casa Nova of Signori Polavini at the Fontana delle case de Scatoni... ".
