Vivaldi seems to have two nuclei, one Trentino and one in Liguria and Upper Tuscan Tirrenica, Vivaldini seems of Mantovano, Vivaldo, very rare, seems decidedly ligurian of the area on the border with the Cuneese, derive from the medieval Germanic name Vivaldus who then Transformed into Vivaldo and then Ubaldo, we remember San Vivaldo lived at the end of 1200.
