Among the oldest references there is an act of May 21, 1387 with which the Cherasquins swore allegiance to Ludovico duke of Orleans, where there is a mention of a Enrione and a Giacomo de Fantibus; in the 16th century a Giovanni, from Enrione, was a soldier of fortune in the service of the Serenissima, his descendants were ascribed to the patrician for excellent services rendered to the homeland and for offers made to the Republic ("the usual offer of one hundred thousand ducats" ed) ; an Antonio Enrione was a field master enlisted in the army of Charles III ...
