Bartolommeo Marogna notaro is one of the wealthy citizens who gave money to the Veronese university in 1337. In 1409 this family was joined to the noble Council of Verona, and gave college judges, and knights. In 1773 it was decorated by the Venetian Republic with the title comitale with part of the jurisdiction over Asparedo.
