Very ancient and noble family, originally from Pontevedra, Spain, called Pedrazzi, Pedraz or Pedraza, which spread in Lombardy since the 14th century and, subsequently, in various regions of Italy. In 1400 the family moved to Padua, where it was admitted to that noble council, for the merits and virtues of its members. Even after the reform decree of the ex-Veneto Senate of 1635, it was formally considered among the noble families attached to that Council, and continued there until its cessation. Furthermore, the presence of the weapon and the motto in the documented bibliography of the Pedrazzi family confirms the ancestral nobility reached by the family.
