Candusso

Ancient and noble family from Cividale, nowadays Italian town in the province of Udine, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, but once domain of the Venetian Republic, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. The family was declared noble in the sixteenth century but it has been known since the thirteenth century. The origin of this surname should be sought in a dialect modification of the name "Candidus", probably belonged to the forefather. From the analysis of colours and symbols of the coat of arms we can have more information about the family virtues.
