CALINI | CALINO

Calini is specific to the Milanese, with a small stock in the Brescia area, Calino, absolutely rare, from the Brescia area, the latter, together with the Brescia branch of the Calini, could derive from the toponym Calino di Cazzago San Martino (BS), all can derive from the Latin cognomen Calenus we remember the Roman general Quintus Fufius Calenus who became Consul in 47 AD.
