CUTI | CUTO

Cuti, very rare, is specific to Palermo, Palermo in particular and Casteldaccia, Cuto is practically unique, could derive from the Hebrew name Cuth or even from the Hebrew name Kittim, traces of these surnames are found for example in Gallipoli in a recording of baptism of 1608, of the son of a certain Quintilian Cuti and of Caterina his wife.
