FLABOREA

Flaborea is typical of Concorda in the Venetian and nearby Portogruaro, with presences also in the Gorizia area of Grado, it should derive from a name originated from a nickname based on the Latin term flabra (gusts of wind), probably due to indicate the origin of the progenitor from a very windy azona, we find traces of this surname in 1668 when a certain Giuseppe Flaborea is enrolled among the tenants of the Curia of Gruaro.
