Lamberti is widespread throughout the central and western north, Lambertini is typical of the Emilia region, including the Ferrara and Bologna areas, it may have a strain also in the Genoese and one in the Novara area, Lamberto, very rare, has a lineage between Messina and Reggio and one perhaps not secondary in Turin, Lamperti is decidedly Lombard, in particular from Milan and Varese and from the Como area, all derive from the frank name Lambert or Lampert.
