Palazzi is in the central north, Palazzini seems to have a nucleus in the Marche, one in the Arezzo area and one in the Lazio region, the presence in Lombardy is significant, but there would appear to be no original nuclei, Palazzo is present throughout central-southern Italy with autonomous strains also in Piedmont and Liguria. They derive from nicknames linked to living near buildings, or belonging, as an easement, to a certain building, it is also possible, in some cases deriving from toponyms, very common in Italy, containing the root Palazz. ., as Palazzo Canavese (TO), Palazzo d'Arcevia (AN), Palazzo del Pero (AR), Palazzo Pedrengo (BG) and many others.
