ZANGHI | ZANGO

Zanghi would seem Sicilian of Messina and Rodì Milici in the Messina and Palermo, Zango, practically unique, is Calabrian, should derive from a Grecanic nickname based on the grecanic term tsangòs (bitchy), but it is also possible that it is a form Contracted of the surname Zangari or Zangaro (see Zangara) and referring to the profession of the founder.
