Semproni has a nucleus in Rome and Subiaco (RM), Sempronio, very very rare, it would seem of the viterbese, should derive from the Roman Gens Sempronia or directly from the Latin nomen Sempronius of which we have an example in the consul of the Roman Republic of 238 B.C. Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus, in De viris illustribus Urbis Romae we read: "... Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus Nobilissima familia ortus Scipionem Asiaticum quamvis inimicum duci in Jailem non est passus... ".
