ASNAGHI | ASNAGO

Typical of the Milanese, they both derive from the toponym Asnago (CO), or from the Latin word asinacum that is the funds of Asina (Latin personal name). We find traces of this surname in the 1300s with the Bishop of Como Benedetto degli Asnaghi and in Fusine (SO) in the early 1600s with the Notary Notary Giovanni Battista de Asnago.
