PROFETA | PROFETI

Prophet is typical of the central South, of the provinces of Teramo, Rome, Naples, Bari and Lecce and in Sicily of Licata, Palma di Montechiaro and Sant'Angelo Muxaro in Agrigentino, of Catania and Mirabella Imbaccari (CT), of Valguarnera Caropepe and Villarosa in Ennese and in Palermo of Palermo and Belmonte Mezzagno, prophets, rarer, is decidedly Tuscan Florentine and Pisan in particular of San Miniato and Cascina. Additions provided by Stefano Ferrazzi, present from the north to the south of the country, is more typically southern and Southern center, with major strains in the Palermo, Agrigentino, Ennese, Neapolitan, the Barese, the Teramano, the Chietino and the Pescarese, the Prophets has its epicentre in Tuscany, between the Pisano, the Livorno, the Florentine and the Siennese, but presents a secondary strain in the Anconetano, both these surnames should derive from the name Christian-medieval prophet, which, like the most common Savior, naturally alludes to the figure of Jesus Christ (as Prophet of God, as the Christian Creed claims). It is therefore a question of the cognominizations of the personal names of the ancestor. Additions provided by Giovanni Vezzelli Prophet, Prophets is Tuscan surname of Greek origin. The word "Prophet" is of Greek etymology, ' profétis ', from which the late Latin ' propheta ' meaning "the one who first speaks" then "who predicts the future" following the Divine Councils. Name of Prophets (CE), fraction of Liberi.
