Corona nobiliare Gabutto Ancient and noble family from Piedmont, with main residence in the city of Asti, of clear and ancestral virtue, known as Gabutto or Gabutti, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. aggregate in Nice Cavalry, was created Knight of the Empire and obtained the grant of a Napoleonic coat of arms. Was his son Guido, Colonel of the Duke of Aosta, decorated with silver medal. Other branch. Noble family from Ivrea that owned the fiefs of Braglia and part of S. Romano, with the title of count. Moreover, this family, in all ages, always stands out, thanks to the prominent figures, which gave birth, in the public service, in the liberal and ecclesiastical professions and in the military service. Among these, without undervalue the omitted, we would like to mention: Tommaso, doctor in both laws, flourishing in Ivrea, in 1534; Vittorio, landowner, flourishing in Ivrea, in 1563; Camillo, doctor in "utroque jure", flourishing in Ivrea, in 1572; Benedetto, military man, flourishing in Turin, in 1602; Fr. Angelo, of the Order of Preachers, flourishing in 1626; Federico Antonio, doctor in "utroque jure", flourishing in Turin, in 1646; Giacomo, militiaman, living in 1673; D. Giosué, apostolic commissioner, flourishing in 1682; Francesco, counsellor in Ivrea, flourishing in 1706. Motto of the family: Hieme Plus Viget. Family names so old, without any doubt honour not only families but also the cities that welcomed them; seems to be, in fact, very worthy the living members of this family which, with much decorum, carry this noble surname, which has had several illustrious members.
