Cane

the different breeds that may be present in a blazon are grouped under this heading. He can wear a different enamel collar ("collared of ...") or a leash ("leash of ..."); it is represented in the act of climbing on another figure ("ascending") or lying in rest ("lying down"), in the act of running ("current"), "standing" on the legs, in the act of walking ("passer-by" ), standing on one of its hind legs ("rampant") or sitting on its hind legs ("sitting"). If half of the body comes out of a partition or piece it is said to be "nascent"; only the head in profile or in front ("meeting of c.") can be represented.
